What did you gain from participating in ADM’s Battle of the Bands?
Participating in the ADM band competition helped me start my solo project from a very good position. My music reached new listeners and different media companies, and I also got 100 7" vinyls, which bigger fans have been able to buy from me. In today's oversaturated world of digital releases, releasing your first EP in physical form as an indie artist is a big deal.
Was the album that ADM helped you release your very first record? How many records have you released after that?
This record was the first physical sound carrier of my solo project, previously I have released music in other formations. My second EP, which I have been working on since the beginning of the year, will be released at the beginning of fall 2024.
Were you satisfied with our cooperation? What did you like most about it?
I was satisfied with the whole process - ADM people are friendly, communication was quick and direct, and every question was answered quickly. I received the records as soon as possible!
What do you as the 2023 winner think is the recipe for success that you would recommend to other young musicians?
I consider the formula for success to be yourself when making music, in my opinion, it helps to convey the emotions found in the song more authentically, thus leaving a more memorable impression on the listener.
And lastly, please share with us three reasons why you would recommend that all other young musicians take part in ADM’s Battle of the Bands.
There are definitely more than three of these reasons! But if you want to make music more seriously and release it in physical form, ADM helps indie artists do just that. It is also a wonderful opportunity to reach out to various media and technology companies. And it all happens through direct and friendly communication :)
